The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribes Council on January 15, 2013 voted to expand our offerings in Standish Michigan. The Saganing Eagles Landing Casino will soon be under construction as work begins on an expansion of what is currently offered. "The time has come to make the changes necessary to ensure we have continued growth and development within the Saganing area", stated Arenac County District 11 Tribal Council Member Ron Nelson.

Saganing Eagles Landing Casino will soon be able to offer hotel accommodations, dining options additional slot machines and table games such as roulette, black jack and craps. Design and development is not quite finished on the expansion. "We are hoping to turn soil on this modest addition between April and May of this year with an expected completion date of early spring 20 14" stated Tribal Chief Dennis Kequom.

Currently plans include 150 hotel rooms; approximately twelve various table games and a diner fashioned to replicate the Legends Diner within the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. Plans for these amenities are tentative until design and development are complete. Construction is expected to take all of ten months. When complete this expansion is expected to provide an additional 251 mixed part and full time jobs. Please watch your local news and newspapers for further updates and developments.
