December Tribal Child Welfare Affidavit forms are available beginning Monday, October 3rd.
Final Tuesdays for the Native Farmer’s Market will be October 4th & 11th 10 am – 2 pm.
Influenza Vaccination Clinic will be Tuesday, October 4th & October 18th from 8 am – 7 pm in the Nimkee Clinic Lobby.
SCA Parent Advisory Meeting will take place Wednesday, October 5th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the SCA Cafeteria.
Traditional Teachings in Saganing will take place on Wednesday, October 5th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Tribal Center.
Language Bingo at Andahwod on Thursday, October 6th at 1pm.
Beading & Craft Class starts October 6th and will be held every Thursday from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Seventh Generation Ceremonial Building.
Traditional Healer, Donnie Dowd, will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, October 6th and Friday, October 7th for traditional healing. Please call (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

Nimkee Women’s Health Feather Link Tea will be held on Tuesday, October 11th from 11 am – 2 pm in the Soaring Eagle Conference Center.
Elder’s Breakfast takes place on Wednesday, October 12th & 26th 9 am – 10 am.
Health Clinic will be available at Andahwod during Elder’s breakfast Wednesday, October 12th & October 26th from 9 am – 11 am.
Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, October 12th & October 26th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Old Council Conference Room.
All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, October 12th & 26th at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.
MMAP speaker from Commission on Aging will be available at Andahwod Thursday, October 13th from 1:30 pm – 3 pm.
7th Generation Fall Feast will take place Thursday, October 13th 5:30 pm – 8:30 p.m.
Run on the Rez 5K and 1 Mile will be held on Saturday, October 15th at the Eagle’s Nest Gym.
Higher Education Tribal Scholarship Funding Deadline is Monday, October 17th 8:30 am.
Tribal Observer November issue deadline is Monday, October 17th at 5 pm.
Simple Regalia and Applique Patterns Workshop Monday, October 17th & Thursday, October 20th 5 pm – 8 pm. SCTC East Building Classroom 6.

Women’s Support Group meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at Behavioral Health. Dinner, childcare and transportation provided.
Halloween Haunt on the Hill will be held at the Powwow Campgrounds Friday, October 28th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.
Andahwod Birthday Bingo will take place on Saturday, October 29th 12 pm – 3 pm.
Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
Euchre Mondays take place at Andahwod 6 pm.

Struggling or need support? Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week. Mondays - 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays - 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
Open Crafts with Elisa at Andahwod every Tuesday at 5 pm.
Anishinaabemowin Learning is held every Tuesday and Thursday 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building.
Keyboarding and Learnkey is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Fridays from 10 am to Noon at the IT
department.
Lunch Bunch Anishinaabemowin is held on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1 pm at the ALRD building.
Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.
Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 3 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.
Lacrosse practice takes place every Thursday at the Tribal Gym from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
The Tribal Clerk’s Office will be closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day starting in February.
