Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, MI, Iliana comes from a family of artists and Chiefs (Pontiac, Pego). She has been dancing (All-Around, Traditional, Jingle and Fancy) since she could walk. A recent graduate of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College, Iliana plans to further her education in the near future. She is a member of the Miss Indian World Committee for the Gathering of Nations Pow wow in Albuquerque, NM. Beading since the age of 9, Iliana also loves to draw, sew, paint and cook. Iliana resides on the Saginaw Chippewa Reservation with her husband Brad and daughter Evelynn.
