On behalf of the LEAD program we wanted to say Miigwetch to all of the departments, programs and individuals who made this wildly successful event possible. We had more than 500 people attend the block party!! The entertainment was awesome….Miigwetch to Joe Riley, Alden Andy, Natalie Shattuck and the Gemtones and Bird Clarkson! Miigwetch to the departments that donated our door prizes. We would like to give special thanks to the following people who worked especially hard to make this event come off without a hitch: Deb Showalter and the Housing Staff, Jeni Grove and the AP staff, Kevin Chamberlain and Sweetgrass Productions, MC Joe Sowmick, Jerry Wieferich from Tribal Fire, Judy Davis, Rosie Romero and the Youth Council, Glenna Halliwill, The Stache, and Tribal Council. Hopefully the kids are all loaded down with school supplies and are excited to get back to school J!!
