Voting Requirements

Ordinance 4, Section 7. Voter Registration,  (b). Proof of Residence. There shall be a rebuttable presumption that an individual’s legal residence for voting purposes is at the address shown on the computerized Tribal Roll based on the most recent annual report filled by such voter.  The burden is on the individual to rebut this presumption by clear and convincing evidence in accordance with the following standards of proof:

(1). A  valid state driver’s license;

(2). A valid state identification card;

(3). A valid tribal membership identification card; or

(4). A valid tribal voter registration card.
