I am happy to announce the opportunity for Tribal Members, 16 and older, living in the Detroit Metro area to be vaccinated next Thursday, April 22nd. This event is a collaboration between the Indian Health Service, State of Michigan and American Indian Health and Family Services. The event will take place from 8:00AM – 3:00PM on April 22nd at the Troy Community Center in Troy, MI. A flyer for the event is attached.

Who can get the vaccine? Anyone age 16 years and older. Minors aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied to the appointment by a parent or guardian in order to provide consent to receive COVID-19 vaccine
Vaccination Event Date: Thursday, April 22 (must commit to 2nd dose on Thursday, May 13)
Hours: 8:00AM to 3:00PM
Location: Troy Community Center Gym 3179 Livernois Road, Troy, MI
Registration details are available on the flyer. I am asking that you broadly share this flyer on your social media platforms to alert any Tribal Members in the Detroit area who would like to be vaccinated.
