James A. McDonald
11/12/2020 3:42:00 PM - Final Journey

James loved--or better said: lived--the color red. He loved big red trucks, eagles, and Christmas. One of his favorite ways to spend his time was seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren, by whom he was affectionately known by Bepop and Papa. James was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe, and those who knew him knew he had a saying: "If that's what you like."

James is survived and remembered by his children, Shannon Jager, Stephanie McDonald, and George McDonald, grandchildren, Destiny, Zach, Serenity, Brent, Sadie, and Shane, great grandchildren, Zander, Zoey, and Zatan, siblings, Lorna, Colleen, Joanie, and John.

A funeral service will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1pm; visitation with the family will take place from 11am to 1pm. James will be buried at Sunrise Memorial Gardens following the service.

Memorial contributions in James' name may be made to the Muskegon Humane Society.
