Ziibiwing Collection Showing begins Saturday, February 2nd through Saturday, February 9th from 8 am – 6 pm.

 

Sober Super Bowl Tailgate Party takes place Sunday, February 3rd from 3 pm – 5 pm at the Eagles Nest Gym.

 

Storytelling in the Lodge takes place at 7th Generation on Tuesday, February 5th from 3 pm – 5 pm.

 

Ishkode Teachings take place Wednesday, February 6th from 3 pm – 6 pm at 7th Generation.

 

Anishinaabemowin & Sacred Fire Lunch will take place at 7th Generation on Thursday, February 7th & February 21st from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Language Bingo takes place Thursday, February 7th from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

Project Venture “Family Night” will take place in the Eagle’s Nest Gym on Thursday, February 7th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, February 7th from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

 

Storytelling and Soup will take place in Saganing Friday, February 8th from 12 pm – 1:30 pm.

 

Menopause & Beyond takes place at Nimkee Kitchen on Friday, February 8th from 12 pm – 3 pm.

 

Tribal Child Welfare Affidavits are due Friday, February 8th by 5 pm. Tribal Clerk’s Office will remain open Friday, February 8th from 8 am – 5 pm.  (Post-dated forms, mail or faxes will not be accepted).

Peer 360 Recovery Meet & Greet will be held Saturday, February 9th from 12 pm – 3 pm in Saganing.

Project Venture Program will begin Tuesday, February 12th from 3:45 pm – 5 pm at the Family Resource Center (Former Sowmick Senior Center).

 

Energy Healing Circle will be held Tuesday, February 12th & February 26th from 4 pm – 5 pm at Behavioral Health.

Anishinabe Authors Gathering & Book Fair will be held at Ziibiwing on Saturday, February 23rd from 2 pm – 6 pm.

 

Artist-In-Residence will be held at Ziibiwing Monday, February 25th through Friday, March 1st from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

 

SCTC STEAM Family Movie Night Featuring “Rumble” will be held at the Tribal College Tuesday, February 26th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

 

Meritain Insurance Update Luncheon will be held at the Saganing Tribal Center Wednesday, February 27th from 12 pm – 1:30 pm.

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4 pm – 5 pm.

 

Bingo with Friends takes place the 2nd Monday of each month from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays from 6 pm – 8 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Tobacco Ceremony and Eagle Wing Smudging takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 8 am – 12 pm.

 

Men’s Open Gym takes place on Tuesdays from 5 pm – 7 pm.

               

Anishinabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 7 pm – 8 pm.

Traditional Teachings take place every first and third Wednesday from 11 am – 4pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Community Sewing Nights take place at 7th Generation every Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm.  

 

Drums Out takes place on Thursdays from 6 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation’s Blue House.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.

Mt. Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School Committee vacancies are available. Call (989) 775-4096 for more information.

 

Sasiwaans ALRC Committee is seeking a youth representative (18 – 25 years of age) to fill one vacancy seat. For more information please call (989) 775-4126.
