Saganing Healthy New Year Luncheon will take place Wednesday, January 2nd from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, January 2nd, January 16th & January 30th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Recreation Teen Lounge.

 

Language Bingo takes place Thursday, January 3rd from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, January 3rd from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

 

Saganing Blood Drive takes place Monday, January 7th from 9 am – 3 pm.

 

Love and Logic Parenting Classes for Guardians begin Monday, January 7th from 4pm – 6 pm at Nimkee Public Health.

 

Name That Tune takes place at Andahwod on Tuesday, January 8th from 3 pm – 4 pm.

 

Healing Energy Circle will be held Tuesday, January 8th & January 22nd at Behavioral Health from 4 pm – 5 pm.

 

SCIT Elder’s Breakfast takes place at Andahwod on Wednesday, January 9th & January 23rd from 9 am – 10 am.

 

Anishinaabemowin & Sacred Fire Lunch will take place at 7th Generation on Thursday, January 10th & January 24th from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Baby Celebration will take place Thursday, January 10th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation.

 

Saganing Soup Day will be held Friday, January 11th from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Saganing Bingo with Friends takes place Tuesday, January 15th from 10:30 am – 2 pm.

 

Sewing Club will be held at Andahwod on Tuesday, January 15th from 1 pm – 7 pm in the Craft Room.

 

Saganing Traditional Workshop will be held Wednesday, January 16th from 11 am – 1 pm.

 

White Elephant Bingo takes place at Andahwod on Wednesday, January 16th from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

Mid-Winter Anishinaabemowin Bingo will take place at 7th Generation on Thursday, January 17th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

 

Tribal Observer February Issue Deadline will be Wednesday, January 16th by 5 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Board Meeting will be held Thursday, January 17th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Monthly Forum will be held Thursday, January 17th from 7 pm – 8:30 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

State of the Tribe Annual Meeting takes place Saturday, January 19th at 10 am with doors opening at 9 am. This will take place in the Soaring Eagle Entertainment Hall. Tribal Members must show ID.

 

Tribal Operations and Related Offices will be closed Monday, January 21st in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

 

Saganing Lunch and Learn: Colorectal Screening takes place Tuesday, January 22nd from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Performance Circle Sign Up takes place at Ziibiwing on Tuesday, January 22nd from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

 

Feast Plate Workshop takes place Wednesday, January 23rd & Thursday, January 24th from 5 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation.

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4 pm – 5 pm.

 

Bingo with Friends takes place the 2nd Monday of each month from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays from 6 pm – 8 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Tobacco Ceremony and Eagle Wing Smudging takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 8 am – 12 pm.

 

Men’s Open Gym takes place on Tuesdays from 5 pm – 7 pm.

 

Anishinabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 7 pm – 8 pm.

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the Black Elk IT Training Room.

Traditional Teachings take place every first and third Wednesday from 11 am – 4pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Community Sewing Nights take place at 7th Generation every Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm. 

 

Drums Out takes place on Thursdays from 6 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation’s Blue House.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.

Mt. Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School Committee vacancies are available. Call (989) 775-4096 for more information.

 

Sasiwaans ALRC Committee is seeking a youth representative (18 – 25 years of age) to fill one vacancy seat. For more information please call (989) 775-4126.
