Obituary for Madonna Belle Sanders

Madonna Belle Sanders, age 60, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Funeral Services for Madonna will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 21, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert Pego officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery. A Luncheon will be held at the Tribal Gym following the Committal Service. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Madonna was born on August 12, 1958, in Delwin, the daughter of William and Georgiana (Bennett) Sanders. Madonna was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, and caring for her cats.

Madonna is survived by her daughter, Yolonda Sweet; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Elsie Sanders and William Wing; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Madonna was preceded in death by her sons, John Terrell and infant son, Caleb Sanders; parents; and siblings, Harvey Bennett, Trudy Sanders, and William Sanders, Jr.
