Elizabeth LaPensée, PhD, is an award-winning designer, writer, and artist. She is Métis Anishinaabekwe, a 2018 Guggenheim Fellow and an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. Her long list of accomplishments and experiences include leading workshops aimed toward Indigenous-led game development. She has offered workshops for over ten years throughout the USA and Canada. In January, we were pleased to have her at Ziibiwing to present the on-line video game which she created, Thunderbird Strike (2017).
