As a result of the M-20/Turtle Trail Construction Project, there is wood available for Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Members to cut up for use as firewood only. The wood is in the field west of the Resort just south of M-20. This is for personal use only, sale is forbidden. Members must obtain a Fallen Timber Permit from the Planning Office as per Ordinance 11 Section 111 Subdivision 6. Members may begin cutting the firewood on Friday 7 November 2014 until it is all removed. You must have a valid permit for this special area or it will be considered to be a violation of Ordinance 11.
