MarchTribal Child Welfare Affidavit forms are available beginning Tuesday, January 2nd and will be accepted no later than Friday, February 2nd by 5:00 pm (post marked mail or faxes will not be accepted).

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, January 3rd, January 17th & January 31st from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Recreation Teen Lounge.

 

Traditional Healer, Donnie Dowd, will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, January 4th from 9 am – 5:30 pm. Please call (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

 

Language Bingo will take place at Andahwod on Thursday, January 4th from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, January 4th from 7 pm – 9:00 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

Sweat Lodge will be held at Behavioral Health on Friday, January 5th from 5:30 pm – 11 pm.

Elvis Birthday Party/Name That Tune will take place Monday, January 8th from 3pm – 4:30 pm at Andahwod.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast at Andahwod on Wednesday, January 10th from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Water Ceremony & Presentation will be held at Andahwod on Wednesday, January 10th from 10 am – 11 am.

 

Blood Drive will take place at Soaring Eagle Entertainment Hall on Wednesday, January 10th from 10 am – 6 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin & Sacred Fire Lunch will be held at 7th Generation Thursday, January 11th & January 25th from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Saganing Soup Day will be held on Friday, January 12th from 12 pm – 2 pm.

 

White Elephant Bingo will take place Wednesday, January 17th from 1 pm – 2:30 pm at Andahwod.

 

Large Cedar Box Workshop will be held at 7th Generation on Wednesday, January 17th & Thursday, January 18th from 5 pm – 8 pm.

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Monthly Forum will be held Thursday, January 18th from 7 pm – 9:00 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

Ziibiwing Anishinaabe Games Day takes place Saturday, January 20th from 1 pm – 5 pm.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the Black Elk IT

Training Room.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 6 pm – 8 pm.

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

Drums Out takes place every Thursday from 6 pm – 8pm in the 7th Generation Blue House.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
