Native Farmers Market “final day for the season” takes place Tuesday, October 3rd  from 10 am – 2 pm at the Farmers Market Pavilion on the corner of Broadway and Leaton Rd.

 

Traditional Teachings will take place in Saganing on Wednesday, October 4th from 11 am – 1 pm.

 

Lunch & Learn Business Workshops will take place on Wednesdays during the month of October from 12 pm – 1 pm at the SCTC East Building #6.

 

Language Bingo will take place at Andahwod on Thursday, October 5th from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

Fall Feast will be held at 7th Generation on Thursday, October 5th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, October 5th from 7 pm – 9:00 pm in the Tribal Operations Senior’s Room.

 

Saganing Fall Feast will take place on Friday, October 6th at 2 pm. Please bring a dish to pass and a giveaway item.

 

Run on the Rez 5K and 1 Mile Race will be held at the Tribal Gym on Saturday, October 7th from 10 am – 2 pm.

 

Indigenous People’s Day takes place at Ziibiwing Monday, October 9th.

 

Feather Link Tea and Luncheon will be held at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort on Tuesday, October 10th from 11am – 2 pm.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast and Flu Shots at Andahwod on Wednesday, October 11th & Wednesday, October 25th from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, October 11th & Wednesday, October 25th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Old Council Conference Room.

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays 6 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the Black Elk IT

Training Room.

 

Performance Circle Class will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 6 pm – 8 pm.

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 3 pm – 5 pm for youth ages 7 to 11 and 5 pm – 7 pm for ages 12 to 15.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

Sweat Lodge at Behavioral Health 5:30 pm – 11 pm every first Friday of the month.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
