The  Tribal Clerk's Office of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe has released the names of sixty-six eligible candidates to run for the 2017 Tribal

Council Primary Election on October 10, 2017. District I has 58 candidates running for the top twenty spots to be placed on the ballot for the November

7, 2017 General Election. District II has two candidates running for two spots to be placed on the General Election ballot. District llI has six candidates

running for two spots to be placed on the General Election ballot. There arc 2,408 Tribal Members who are registered to vote: 1,062 in District I; 39 in
