Camp Registration Forms

The camp will feature 4 different wearable arts taught by local master artists.  These art teachings can easily be applied to regalia making as well.  This camp is intended to introduce the youth to different art forms and knowledge in the hopes they will find a passion they can carry on to future generations.

It will take place at Ziibiwing 8/21-25, and will conclude with a Fashion Show of the wearable arts the youth created on 8/25 at 7th Generation’s People’s Powwow grounds.

The four arts include:

1.       Beading with Alice Jo Ricketts

2.       Cloth applique panels with Kim and Vera Hinmon

3.       Finger weaving with Joanne Butzin

4.       Leather work with Adam Avery

Any youth interested in learning new arts are encouraged to participate but space is limited therefore get your completed registration packets in as soon as possible.  The first 20 who turn in their completed registration forms are guaranteed a spot, others will be waitlisted.
