**Tribal Operations and related offices will be closed Monday, December 26th through Friday, December 30th

 

Anishinaabemowin Family Christmas Bingo will be held Monday, December 5th from 5:30 pm – 7 pm at 7th Generation.

 

Traditional Teachings in Saganing will take place on Wednesday, December 7th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Tribal Center.

 

Medicine Wheel Teaching will take place Wednesday, December 7th from 5 p – 8p at 7th Generation.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, December 7th & Wednesday, December 21st from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Old Council Conference Room.

 

Public Meeting: EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant will take place at the Saganing Tribal Center Thursday, December 8th from 4 pm – 6 pm.

 

7th Generation Winter Feast will be held Thursday, December 8th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

Jake & Mary Pine, Traditional Healers, will be at 7th Generation on Thursday, December 8th & Friday, December 9th. Please call (989) 775-4787 to make an appointment. 

 

The Reason for the Season event takes place in the Eagle’s Nest Tribal Gym Friday, December 9th 5 pm – 9 pm.

 

Frybread Workshop will be held at 7th Generation on Monday, December 12th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

Star Wars Comic-Con will be held at the Tribal College East Building Tuesday, December 13th from  3 pm – 6 pm.

 

Anishinabe Performance Circle Graduation will be held at the Andahwod Tuesday, December 13th  from 6 pm – 8 pm (new location).

 

Tribal Observer December issue deadline is Tuesday, December 13th at 5 pm. 

 

SCA Winter Program will be held Wednesday, December 14th from 6 pm – 8 pm at Soaring Eagle Entertainment Hall.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, December 14th at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Anishinaabemowin Sacred Fire Lunch will be held Thursday, December 15th from 12 pm – 1 pm at 7th Generation Ceremonial Building.

 

A Financial Workshop will take place on Thursday,  December 15th at the Housing Conference Room starting at noon with lunch. 

 

Community Cultural Teaching at Ziibiwing Saturday, December 17th 1pm – 4 pm.

 

Gift Wrapping by Youth Council will take place at Andahwod on Sunday, December 18th 1 pm – 4 pm.

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Euchre Mondays take place at Andahwod 6 pm.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week.  Mondays  -  5:30  pm to 7 pm  and  Fridays  - 11:30  am  to 1 pm.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held every Tuesday at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Jewelry with Kay at Andahwod takes place the first Tuesday of month from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

Open Crafts with Elisa at Andahwod every Tuesday at 5 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Learning is held every Tuesday and Thursday 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Keyboarding and Learnkey is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Fridays from 10 am to Noon at the IT

department. 

 

Lunch Bunch Anishinaabemowin is held on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Lacrosse practice takes place every Thursday at the Tribal Gym from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

 

Beading & Craft Classes are held every Thursday  from  5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Behavioral Health (new location).

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.

 

Free septic & well inspections for Tribal Members who live in Indian Health Service area.  Please call (989) 775-4014 to schedule an appointment.
