Network Group

IT Network support

The network group is responsible for designing, building and maintaining both the logical and physical tribal networks used by most computer related devices and many vital systems, such as e-mail, file and print services, data backup and recovery, and computer user login accounts. All of these systems help facilitate fast and efficient forms of communication for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort.

The Network group services approximately 1200 computer user accounts, 1400 computer workstations, 60 servers, 800 Internet user accounts and 1000 e-mail accounts. Always looking for potential ways to better serve our end users, the Network group is constantly researching and testing new systems in ways to improve upon our current systems and maintain cutting edge technologies.
