& the Graduate
Spotlight
We have two programs facilitated through the Higher Education Department. They are the Higher Education Hall of Fame and the Graduate Spotlight.
Tribal Council approved the construction of a showcase for the Tribal Operations Building in which we recognize tribal members who graduated from college, university or vocational/trade schools. We also highlight recent college graduates in the Tribal Observer. If you have any information you would like included in either of these programs, please contact the Higher Education Department at 989-775-4506.
The Tribe hosted an unveiling ceremony for the Higher Education Hall of Fame showcase on November 18, 2003.
We also recognize recent graduates through articles under the heading "Graduate Spotlight" in the Tribal Observer. We have forms available for anyone interested in being in the spotlight as a recent graduate.
