Paint The Rez Purple
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. There is a national campaign using the purple ribbon to signify this prevalent and harmful issue in our society, Indian Tribe through close coordination with Tribal Public Safety, Behavioral Health and other Tribal organizations are campaigning to "Paint the Rez Purple" to promote awareness of this issue and the societal need to deal with it head on.
